INTERESTED IN STUDENT THEATRE?

The OU Drama Society is looking to recruit more grads! They run a competition for freshers and can also help join Wolfsonians up with other grads to form some drama groups. If you're interested in getting involved in this, starting a Wolfson drama club, or acting as a Freshers' Rep for OUDS at Wolfson this coming year, email helen.curtis@wolfson.ox.ac.uk and I'll put you in touch with each other and OUDS!

WOLFSON WINTER BALL

The Wolfson Winter Ball is the main social event of the year and is solely run by students. Last year was a huge success and we want to repeat - if not surpass - the achievements of the previous year. It is a great event to get involved in, and there is a position available for however you want to help out! Please volunteer in whatever capacity you can. It is a commitment but we try to meet just once a week, and come December you'll not only be done but you'll also be the toast of Wolfson College! Yet again, in 2012 we will be the only College with a winter ball, so lets show the rest of the colleges how its done! You can nominate yourself using this link: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/M9GLCGC Marc Sarazin, SCC Chair

BAR RELOCATION TO UPPER COMMON ROOM

Due to the refurbishment of B Block, the College bar will be closing after last orders on Friday 29 June and re-opening in the Upper Common Room on Monday 2 July. During this temporary relocation there will be restricted opening hours to 11.30pm every night, including weekends. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience that may be caused during this time. Barry Coote, Home Bursar

SUMMER BUILDING WORK

As many people may have noticed, during the Summer we are undertaking substantial improvements to several areas of the College, which include a refit of the main kitchens, an upgrade to the College bar and new ensuites and kitchens to B Block. Due to the scale of these works there will, understandably, be a certain amount of noise and disruption. This will include a slight reduction in the number of car parking spaces available and access restrictions, sometimes at short notice. Thank you for your understanding and co-operation and please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused. Barry Coote, Home Bursar

LONG TERM BIKE STORAGE

Members who are likely to be away for some length of time are asked not to leave their bicycles in the bicycle area or in the cycle racks. These are for use by current members who are still in Oxford. Long-term bicycle storage is available on application to the Accommodation Office. Contact: accommodation. office@wolfson.ox.ac.uk

DEPARTURE TIME

Residents are reminded that they must vacate their accommodation by 12 NOON on the day of departure. This is especially important for Blocks, B, M & Q. There are no exceptions to this. If you have any queries, please contact accommodation.office@wolfson.ox.ac.uk Accommodation Officer.
